Integrated project management

Comprehensive project management starts when our client requests a quote and ends when
the roof reaches its end of life. A successful roofing asset management program includes the following components:design, installation, inspection, maintenance and warranties.
Our program requires all stakeholders — contractor, manufacturer and owner — to work together
at every stage of the project. Our management team strives to implement each project in a way
that ensures the long-term performance of the roofing system and emphasizes sustainable
solutions.

Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM)

EPDM is one of the most common types of low pitch roofing materials. Compared to conventional prefabricated roofs, EPDM is a relatively inexpensive and clean enough material to work with. EPDM roofs are single layer membranes and do not have the odors and fumes that accompany other types of embedded roofing systems.

The service life of EPDM roofing systems is from 12 to 25 years, depending on the type installation and environmental conditions. These factors include building type, foot traffic on the roof, and roof dehumidification system.

Thermoplastic olefin or polyolefin (TPO)

Like EDPM, TPO membranes are single ply roofing membranes but are made from EPDM. TPO is designed to combine the durability of EPDM rubber with the proven performance of hot air welds. TPO is highly resistant to tear, impact and puncture, and has excellent resistance to ozone and algae. In addition, TPO is environmentally friendly and safe to install.

The service life of TPO roofing systems is from 10 to 20 years, depending on the type of installation and various environmental factors.

Manufactured slate and shakers

If your business currently uses residential roofing materials such as slate or ratchet, artificial (synthetic) shingles may be the perfect replacement. Manufactured slate and shake tiles look like slate stone and natural wood, but are made from a durable polymer composite. Synthetic options are incredibly durable and easy to install, and also cost significantly less than natural slate or wood shavings. In addition, these products are freeze/thaw, fire and wind resistant. Siding: Do you need a job or consultation on siding in Cincinnati? If so, contact Rus Roofing today.
